September 2024 Fall Craft Fairs and Markets

September 6-15, 2024 The annual Kansas State Fair has a plethora of crafts and goods made by Kansas artisans.

September 21, 2024 Sedgwick KS Fall Festival vendor market. Admission is a $10 festival wristband and includes lunch and lots of activities! More info.

September 21, 2024 Kingman Arts & Crafts Fair during Cessna Fest from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. will feature homemade and handmade crafts in yarn, wood, pencil, food, and more. In the B Street Red Barn, SE corner of West B Street & Main in Kingman, KS

September 21, 2024 Hillsboro Arts & Crafts Fair from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. One of the biggest, longest-running, and best-known craft fairs in Kansas. Exhibitors from around the country are selected by a panel of judges to bring their handicrafts to the show. Every item is handmade. Local flavor and fair food will ensure you don’t get too hungry while shopping. More info

September 21, 2024 Downtown El Dorado Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Coutt’s Museum of Art. Local agriculture, crafts, and cuisine and other products at 110 N. Main Street in El Dorado, Kansas.

September 21, 2024 Derby Small Business Fall Market from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hubbard Arts Center, 737 Louisa St., Derby, KS 67037 Ongoing market run by Made with Love in Derby. Spring, summer, fall, and through December 14, 2024 with 45+ vendors.

September 28, 2024 Canton Fall Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 1514 27th Ave., Canton, KS 67428 on the McPherson County fairgrounds. The annual craft fair has both indoor and outdoor vendors as part of the Canton Heritage Days.

September 28, 2024 Rock Regional Fall Craft and Car Show in Derby from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3251 N. Rock Road in DERBY (not Wichita) KS, 67037. This is the first year for this show which promises to have a good mix of craft fair fare and car show shine. They’ll have outdoor booths with craft and food vendors. More info is on Facebook here.

September 28, 2024 JM Collingwood Barn Art & Craft Market from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Featuring original, handmade items in nearly every medium and vintage or repurposed finds. 22002 S. Partridge Rd, Pretty Prairie, KS Entry fee of $5 for ages 12+ helps fund the Pretty Prairie Food Pantry. More info

September 28, 2024 Great Plains Art & Music Festival in Lawrence, KS from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sesquicentennial Point Park. Free admission to this festival with kids activities (including $12 “all-you-can-bounce” wristbands), 65 art and handmade vendor booths, 8 food & dessert trucks, and great music. The Evening Party, a ticketed music event, follows the daytime fun at 4 p.m. See greatplainsfest.com for more info.

October 2024 Fall Bazaars and Holiday Markets

October 4 & 5, 2024 Kansas Barn Sale, 4-8 p.m. Friday evening and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. A ginormous barn sale with music, food and friends, along with vintage and artisan handmade goods and crafts. This one is a lot of fun, in Halstead, KS Riverside Park. There’s usually an entry fee.

October 5, 2024 Holidaze Craft and Antique Show in Winfield from 9 a.m. at the Winfield Fairgrounds. Shop 70+ small businesses and local vendors and take home one of about 2,000 free pumpkins given away by Harvest Christian Church. Trucktoberfest. Public shuttle available. Free admission. October 6, 2024 Art & Ale Popup Market by Haute Handmade from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Norton’s Brewing Company. Celebrating all things Halloween, Oktoberfest, the fall season, and early holiday shopping! Free admission. 125 N. St. Francis St., Wichita, KS 67202

October 10, 2024 Cedar Creek Farm Ladies Night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cedar Creek Farm will be host to an adults-only autumn vendor shopping event for adults. $5 admission. Cocktails available for purchase.

October 12, 2024 St. Peter Schulte Fall Bazaar with 100+ craft vendors on October 12 th
from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Our Country Store sells homemade bierocks and cinnamon rolls along with
homemade baked goods, jams, pickles and much more! Our cafeteria has dine-in or take out lunch
serving homemade bierocks, chicken noodle soup, bbq beef sandwiches and lots of tasty pie! Admission

October 12, 2024 Grace Hill Winery Local Artisan Fair from noon to 6 p.m. A showcase of locally made art, handmade crafts, and locally produced food and drink. Vendors indoors and outside, live music on the patio, food and drink available to purchase. Admission is free. At 6310 S. Grace Hill Rd. in Whitewater, KS. Info here at their website

October 12, 2024 Rose Hill Fall Festival Craft Fair beginning at 10 a.m. as part of the Rose Hill fall festival.

October 13, 2024 Sunday Fun Day Popup at Central Standard Brewing in Hyde Park with live DJs, sweets vendors, handmade and curated goods from local and regional vendors, $5 sangrias all day. Facebook info

October 13, 2024 Shop & Grub Market by Festive ICT from noon to 5 p.m. in Exploration Place Festival Plaza, 272 N. McClean Blvd, in Wichita, KS Free admission to this monthly outdoor market featuring various vendors selling vintage clothing, art, jewelry, accessories, home goods, wine, food and more.

October 19, 2024 Souders Historic Farm Museum Fall Fest vendor market, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Enjoy an afternoon with 20+ vendors, live music, food trucks, kids activities, and the museum will be open. Fee is $2 per person, but kids 12 and younger get in free. at 39925 W. 39th St. South in Cheney, KS. This is just the second year for this fun event just west of Wichita. Info on Facebook

October 19, 2024 Mulvane Christian Church Craft Show and Chicken & Noodle Dinner from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Preorder your dinner if you can, then stop by the church to shop the craft fair before you pick it up. To-go orders only (no space at the craft fair to sit and eat).

Arts & Crafts Bazaar Church of the Magdalen

• Date: November 2, 2024

• Admission: $5 (children 6 and younger free)
• Celebrating 50 years. Over 100 vendors, delicious food, freshly baked goods, and fabulous raffle prizes – including a beautifully handmade quilt. FREE Bus service will be available if our parking lot is full (it will be!) The bus will be picking up from Trinity Academy located across from Magdalen on 21st Street. Also, as a friendly reminder, NO STROLLERS are allowed at the event. This is strictly due to safety concerns and a LOT of foot traffic in the hallways.

Paramount’s Christmas Holiday Open House

Goddard Spirit Bazaar

• Date: November 9, 2024
• Time: from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
• Location: Church of the Holy Spirit, 183rd & Kellogg in Goddard, KS
• Price: $3 (FREE for kids 12 and under)
•  A long-running craft bazaar with over 60 vendors selling gifts, crafts, jewelry, home décor, health & beauty, and more. This is a great place to start your holiday shopping. Enjoy a breakfast of cinnamon rolls and biscuits and gravy or a lunch of chicken & noodles, taco soup, sloppy joes, and homemade deserts. There’s also a bake sale, raffle baskets to win, and even visits with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.!

West Heights Annual Art & Crafts Fair

Colwich Winter Market

• Date: November 16, 2024

• Location: 401 S. Marion St. in Colwich, KS in the old gym at the elementary school

• Local, handmade, holiday gifts from small business vendors. This year the Colwich Winter Market promises to be bigger and better than ever. They’re partnering with Colwich HSO to serve chili and cinnamon rolls!

Christmas in the Foothills
