Sharing is caring!
The annual Magdalen Bazaar is one of my personal favorites. It truly marks the start of the holiday season in Wichita. If you’re like me and love finding unique gifts while supporting local artisans, this event is a must. There’s just something special about wandering through rows of handmade crafts, holiday décor, and baked goods, knowing that every purchase helps local creators and community programs.
For me, the Magdalen Bazaar also kicks off my Christmas shopping in the best way possible. I get to cross a few names off my list. I always find something unexpected, like a hand-stitched ornament for our tree, a cozy candle for a teacher gift, or maybe a handmade piece of jewelry that my daughters will love. This is one of the many Craft Fairs and Bazaars in Wichita. Make sure to check out my full list!

Held at Church of the Magdalen, the bazaar is packed with talented local vendors offering everything from home décor and holiday signs to tasty jams and sweet treats. There’s even a bake sale and raffle prizes. It’s a great outing for families, friends, or anyone who enjoys a good deal with a local touch, and it’s the perfect place to find one-of-a-kind gifts without breaking the bank.

- Because it’s a church-based bazaar, proceeds support community and parish efforts, giving your shopping an extra feel-good factor.
- It’s family-friendly and supports local makers, which fits my “living the good life for less” mindset here in Wichita.
- Parking is at Church of the Magdalen, 12626 E. 21st St N., Wichita, KS 67206
- Make sure to check out the Bake Sale Room — lots of tempting treats for the girls (and me!).
- Since it’s an indoor bazaar, we won’t need to worry about Kansas weather affecting the event (always a plus!)
