Mulvane, Kansas 4th of July Parade

Mulvane, Kansas, is known for its 4th of July parade, which celebrates our great nation’s independence. The parade is a long-standing tradition in Mulvane, drawing residents and visitors. Local businesses, organizations, schools, and community groups participate in the parade, showcasing floats, decorated vehicles, and themed displays.

Mulvane, Kansas, is located approximately 15 miles south of Wichita, Kansas, and it’s an easy drive. You take Interstate 35 (Kansas Turnpike), which provides a direct and quick connection between Wichita & Mulvane.

The Parade starts at the Munson Primary School, moves south on 2nd Avenue to Main Street, turns left, and ends at Main Street Park.

The parade features beautiful restored classic cars, Mulvane’s extensive line of public safety vehicles, and other floats and groups. (Businesses & organizations, please submit your Online Parade Entry Form.)

Kids are also welcome to decorate their bikes and join the parade. They can participate by showing up at the middle school with their bike at 10:15 AM.

All floats, walkers, and bikers should arrive to line up at 10 AM. Judging will take place at 11:30 AM, and the parade begins promptly at 11 AM.

Once the parade is over, the festivities continue in Main Street Park with free watermelon, patriotic prizes, and more!
