Titanic Exhibit at Exploration Place
Exploration Place is bringing a brand-new summer exhibition to Wichita called Finding Titanic: The Secret Mission, running May 22 – September 7.
This interactive exhibit goes beyond the Titanic story and reveals the real secret mission behind the discovery of the wreckage. Visitors will learn how oceanographer Robert Ballard used cutting-edge technology, deep-sea robots, and exploration tools during a top-secret Cold War mission that eventually led to the discovery of the Titanic in 1985.
Admission is included with regular museum admission and free for members.
