We’re not surprised that July is National Ice Cream Month, first designated by President Ronald Reagan in 1984, because that cold treat is especially welcome during these hot summer days. Not coincidentally, National Ice Cream Day is annually on the third Sunday in July.
This year, National Ice Cream Day is Sunday, July 20, 2025.
And according to DQ, National Ice Cream Week is July 14-20!

Whole Foods Market Ice Cream Month Sale
Cool off with a frozen treat at Whole Foods Market. From July 2 to 8, 2025 (extended! now valid through July 15), Amazon Prime member customers save 50% on all ice cream and frozen desserts. Even sweeter, the grocery store’s ice cream does not contain the 100+ preservatives, flavors, colors and other ingredients they’ve prohibited from food.

Dairy Queen is celebrating National Ice Cream Day all week long from Monday, July 14 to Sunday, July 20, with a sweet deal! Last year, the deal was for one day only, but this year you have all week to redeem your Ice Cream Day treat!
DQ App users will find a coupon for a FREE Dilly Bar, redeemable at participating DQ stores nationwide with a DQ Rewards order of $1 or more. The free Dilly Bar is made with DQ Vanilla coated in chocolate and served on a popsicle stick.

Burger King National Ice Cream Month Deal
Burgers aren’t the only thing on the menu at Burger King. The fast-food chain is celebrating National Ice Cream Month by offering a FREE vanilla soft serve cup or cone with a minimum purchase of $1. The offer is available in the app. Limit one per customer. (The digital offer may not be available in all areas.)
QuikTrip National Ice Cream Month Deal
Cool off with a summer treat for National Ice Cream Month (and beyond) from Quik Trip. At participating locations, QT offers .99 ice cream cones and sundaes through August 31, 2025.
Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream Day Deals
The week leading up to National Ice Cream Day, Cold Stone Creamery are offering sweet deals each and every day! They kicked things off on Monday with triple points when you order online.
Alden’s Ice Cream Coupon
Alden’s ice cream company makes organic ice cream sold in grocery stores across the U.S. They even have dairy-free options. In celebration of National Ice Cream Month, Alden’s is offering a coupon for $1 off any item at a retail store. The coupon is good through August.
Dillons Ice Cream Month Deals
