Wichita Art Museum WAM is getting an early start on free ice cream with its annual Summer Birthday Bash on Saturday, July 15. We love this event! (See link for details.) Admission is free and they’ll have music and special activities for all.

McDonald’s App users can get FREE soft serve all day on Sunday, and if you show up to get your treat between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., you’ll also be entered to win free McDonald’s soft serve for life.
Little Lion Ice Cream The local treat makers will be opening a new kiosk in Espresso to Go Go at 120 E. 1st Street downtown and they’re celebrating National Ice Cream Day with a soft opening this Sunday. During the event they’ll debut a special new waffle, the Walth Trio will be playing live music from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and MUV Fitness and Massage will be there so you can treat yourself to a chair massage.
Subaru and Churn & Burn They’ve teamed up to give away FREE ice cream on National Ice Cream Day from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 16 at these three locations in Wichita: Old Town Square, Central Riverside Park, and College Hill Park. Whole Foods Whole Foods is having a one-day sale on July 16th. Get any two Ben & Jerry’s pints, whether they’re ice cream, frozen yogurt or non-dairy frozen treats, for $6. In addition some locations will be host “Sundae Funday” sampling events. Whole Foods is at 1423 N. Webb Road in Wichita.
Wendy’s Not technically an Ice Cream Day special, but still deliciously cool – you can still get a small Wendy’s Frosty for 50 cents at participating locations.
Baskin Robbins According to local manager Jeff, our two local Wichita Baskin Robbins locations will have a special BOGO deal for National Ice Cream Day! Buy a single or double scoop of ice cream, and get the second one for just 99 cents! This offer is good only at the two Wichita Baskin Robbins locations: 21st and Webb Road and 21st and Tyler near the Warren Theater. If you’re unsure of what flavor you want, remember that you can sample flavors for free every day at Baskin Robbins!
