Haysville, KS, is celebrating the 4th of July all day long at Riggs Park, and it’s FREE!
It looks like the Haysville fireworks and other activities are put on by Haysville Rec and the City of Haysville. Since it’s just five miles south of Wichita, roughly, Haysville is part of the Wichita metropolitan area and a perfect place to spend the Independence Day holiday.
All the Fourth of July Celebrations in Haysville are happening at Riggs Park, which offers a modern playground, sports facilities, walking paths, a pond, and more. The park is centrally located and is a recreational hub for this town.
Haysville 4th of July Activities:
- Independence Day Parade – 8:00 a.m.
- Cornhole Tournament – 9:00 a.m.
- OK Kids Fishing Derby – 9:00 a.m.
- Frog Races – 10:00 a.m.
- Hot Dogs in the Park – 11:00 a.m.
- Red, White and Water Games – 11:00 a.m.
- Raft Races @ the Pool – 11:30 a.m.
- Water Carnival @ the Pool – 12:00 p.m.
- Concert by Rusty Rierson – 7:30 p.m.
- Fireworks – 9:45 p.m.

History Fact: The 4th of July commemorates the United States’ declaration of independence from British rule. It celebrates the nation’s birth and the values of liberty, freedom, and democracy. The Declaration of Independence was adopted by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776, but it was not fully signed by all the delegates until August 2, 1776.
