Goddard, KS 4th of July Celebration: Fireworks, Food & Live Music

The Fourth of July in Goddard is packed with family-friendly fun all day long. Visitors can enjoy swimming, food vendors, live music, and a fireworks show to cap off the celebration. Located just about 13 miles west of Wichita, Goddard is an easy drive and makes a great option for families looking for a fun Independence Day Celebration close to home. It’s one of those community events that feels festive without being overwhelming, making it a favorite for many local families.

Goddard really has such a fun and wholesome small-town 4th of July celebration. Highly recommended if you live nearby!

If you are going to watch the Goddard Fireworks, head to the SONIC for a fun, family-friendly fireworks watch party from 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. Guests will have a great view of the Goddard 4th of July fireworks while enjoying cornhole, a prize wheel with giveaways and coupons, complimentary face painting, and more. The first 25 guests to arrive will also receive a SONIC swag bag. While you’re there, take advantage of SONIC’s America $2.50 Menu featuring favorites like the Red, White & Blue Slush Float, Jr. Double Cheeseburger, All-American Hot Dog, and Medium Onion Rings, plus enjoy 99-cent Corn Dogs on July 4. The event takes place at the SONIC located at 20000 W. U.S. Highway 54 in Goddard.
