Sharing is caring!
Dashing through the snow and oh what fun it is! Every year, we have only a few places in Wichita that usually offer horse-drawn carriage rides in Wichita. There is something incredible magical about the experience of an old fashioned carriage ride that will put even the must ‘humbug’ of people into the Christmas spirit!
Look below for all the dates and times of the free horse-drawn carriage and/or wagon rides we know of around Wichita.
Winfield Isle of Lights Carriage Rides
Prairie Pines Christmas Tree Farm
The horse and driver at Prairie Pines have now retired, and the horse-drawn wagon rides will no longer be offered. Instead, horse-drawn and tractor-drawn hay-racks will take tree customers to the fields to choose a tree.
Free Carriage Rides in Old Town
Free Carriage Rides in Old Town are back! Carriage rides are happening every Friday from now until Christmas, 6 pm to 9 pm. Pick-ups and drop-offs will happen at the Old Town Square and Old Town Plaza.
Bradley Fair does NOT have Horse-drawn carriage rides anymore. Instead, they have electric train rides that are $5 per ride. Find out more info here about Bradley Fair Holiday Stroll.
