Sharing is caring!
Winfield, KS, has a beautiful mile-long Christmas display that’s a must-see for your yearly family tradition! Isle of Lights was formed in 1993 as a not-for-profit organization with the vision to create a Christmas lighting display in Winfield’s beautiful Island Park.
Every year since, new displays have been added to the park. Funds for new displays and expenses are generated from gate donations, private and business donations, memorials, and grants from the Winfield Convention and Tourism.
Admission to Winfield’s Isle of Lights is free, but donations are accepted. On select nights, there are Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides for an extra fee.

Traditionally, this fun holiday attraction opens every year on the third Sunday of November and goes until the end of December. This year, it will be open from November 17 to December 30, 2025, in Island Park on North Main Street in Winfield, Kansas. It is open nightly from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.
They will host a Tree-Lighting Ceremony on opening night, November 16th, at 5:30. This is a special night with Christmas carols, hot cocoa, and cookies. Visit our full list of Tree Lighting Events in and around Wichita.
