Oh what fun – Clydesdale Carriage Rides at Winfield Isle of Lights

Sharing is caring!

Winfield, KS, has a beautiful mile-long Christmas display that’s a must-see for your yearly family tradition! Isle of Lights was formed in 1993 as a not-for-profit organization with the vision to create a Christmas lighting display in Winfield’s beautiful Island Park.

Every year since, new displays have been added to the park. Money for new displays and expenses comes from gate donations, private and business donations, memorials as well as grants from Winfield Convention and Tourism.

Admission to Winfield’s Isle of Lights is free, but they do accept donations. On select nights, there are Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides for an extra fee.

Traditionally, this fun holiday attraction opens every year on the third Sunday of November and goes until the end of December. This year, it will be open from November 17 – December 30, 2024, in Island Park on North Main Street in Winfield, Kansas. It is open nighly from 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm.

They will host a Tree-Lighting Ceremony on opening night, November 17th, at 5:30. This is a special night with Christmas carols, hot cocoa, and cookies. Visit our full list of Tree Lighting Events in and around Wichita.
