Still looking for the perfect gift for someone local? If you purchase a Sedgwick County Zoo membership this month, you’ll get an extra good deal. The zoo memberships aren’t discounted, but they do include special holiday bonuses, including up to 3 extra months!
The holiday gift memberships activate when the gift certificate is redeemed, which must be done by phone or in person by March 1, 2022. There are several levels of membership to choose from, and they come with a free gift:
- Single Plus
- Senior Plus
- Family
- Family Plus
- Family Plus Two
But if you buy a holiday zoo membership gift now, you’ll get all the benefits of a regular membership, plus a keepsake photo frame (while supplies last) and extended membership good through March 1, 2023. Check out the zoo’s holiday gift page for special add-ons like upgrading memberships to receive a free animal plush, or adopting the leopards to get an ornament. If you visit the zoo often (or would like to), memberships do save you money. Regular adult admission is $20 per person ($15 for seniors), and you’ll pay $15 for each child age 3-11.
If a membership is still out of the budget, the zoo does sometimes have discounted days, like Winter Wednesdays.
