Great Plains Nature Center Spring Break
The Great Plains Nature Center (GPNC) in Wichita, Kansas, is a renowned facility dedicated to educating the public about the natural environment of the Great Plains.
The center is located at 6232 E. 29th Street North, Wichita, Kansas. It sits on the fringe of Chisholm Creek Park, offering visitors easy access to both natural and constructed habitats.
Great Plains Nature Center has a FREE indoor museum and outdoor trails.
- The Museum (FREE): This indoor nature center features interactive exhibits. Visitors can explore dioramas, interactive displays, and live-animal exhibits featuring reptiles, amphibians, and birds of prey.
