Exploration Place is having extended hours for Spring Break in Wichita 2024. They are calling all explorers of all ages to enjoy the museum this break. They will be open from 10 am – 8 pm from March 8th – 16, 2024.
Exploration Place features various exhibits covering topics such as aviation, space exploration, Kansas wildlife, paleontology, and more. Some of its notable exhibits include Kansas in Miniature, which showcases the state’s geographical features, and Design Build Fly, where visitors can learn about aviation and aerospace engineering.
Exploration Plae is also hosting a Lego Level-UP SpringBrek camp. Our Spring Break Camp list has more information about this camp and other camps in Wichita.
Exploration Place Exhibit during Spring Break 2024:
- Bricktopia which is three brick exhibits into one:
- Million Brick Madness
- Brick Dinos
- Adrift
- You can see what one million Legos looks like, and you can play and build as many as you want.
- As part of this exhibit, they are offering Block-In Overnights, providing an opportunity to camp inside Bricktopia at Exploration Place.
Pro Tip: The Dome Theater at Exploration Place offers visitors the opportunity to experience immersive educational films. The Dome Theater provides a unique viewing experience, with its curved screen enveloping the audience for an immersive journey into various scientific topics.
Remember to catch a Live Science Show performed multiple times daily. Each show lasts 20 – 30 minutes and is appropriate for all ages.
