Scare yourself silly this month with several classic (and new) horror movie screenings at various theatres around Wichita. Below is a list of Halloween-themed or scary movies and films that are guaranteed to keep you up at night.
2020 Scary Movie Screenings
You get more movies for your money at Wichita’s Starlite Drive-In theater and this year they’re starting their scary movies screenings early with Scary Movie Mondays and Saturdays.
You can also get the Big Screen experience on October 30 & 31, 2020 with Halloween movies and free souvenir cups and keychains while they last.
- Screen 1: The Lost Boys & Poltergeist
- Screen 2: Hotel Transylvania & Goosebumps

Boeing Dome Theater at Exploration Place
NEW! Halloween Laser Spooktacular Laser Light Show, Friday, Oct. 16 – Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020. Get ready to mash with monsters in this spellbinding sing-along featuring classic Halloween titles such as Monster Mash, Ghostbusters, and Purple People Eater. Dare to encounter floating laser caricatures and animations of legendary Halloween personalities.
This year, the Crown Uptown theater will join in the Halloween fun with four separate screenings of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Tickets for Rocky Horror is $15-25.
The Orpheum Theatre
You can watch Hocus Pocus for FREE in the newly remodeled Naftzger Park on October 23, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy your movie in the park!
Capitol Federal Amphitheater
Cap Fed Amphitheater will be showing Hocus Pocus on October 24. Don’t forget your lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks for this FREE movie. More information here.
