Scare yourself silly this month with several classic (and new) horror movie screenings at various theatres around Wichita. Below is a list of Halloween-themed or scary movies and films that are guaranteed to keep you up at night.
2022 Scary Movie Screenings
Bradley Fair Outdoor Movie
This event is only $5 per child and FREE for adults. 100% of the Child’s movie ticket will go to a local non-profit so that’s pretty cool. Parents and guardians don’t need a ticket because you are AWESOME and taking a little on for a fun night under the stars. Tickets can be purchased online now or in person (cash only) on the day of the event.
Before each movie, they are having some cool extra activities like face painting, character appearances, crafts, snacks,s and pumpkin path photo ops. You could also pack a picnic or grab dinner at one of the many delicious restaurants at Bradly Fair. Find out more HERE

They are playing classic horror movies for just $5.38 + tax a ticket! Yes, you can go to the theater to see Halloween at a discounted price.
Starlite Drive-In
Admission is $15 per carload or $10 per person. Masks are required inside concessions area and bathrooms, and social distancing is expected. Get more info at StarliteFun.com/showtimes
Augusta Historic Theatre
See the original Rocky Horror Picture Show movie at the historic theater in Augusta on October 15, 2022. Movie starts at 10 p.m. The price is $15 but that includes ticket and one prop bag while supplies last. Costumes are encouraged.
Town West Movie Theater Boulevard
They are having throwback Thursdays Beginning October 1st – October 27th. All shows are only $5!! Also every Monday all movies are also just $5.
Crown Uptown
This year, the Crown Uptown theater will join in the Halloween fun with 10 separate screenings of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Tickets for Rocky Horror are $10-45.
Adults:

The Orpheum Theatre
The Orpheum will be showing:
- The Lost Boys on October 22nd at 7pm for $8
- The Rocky Horror Picture Show on October 28th at 8pm and 11:59pm
- Price is $10
- If you want a pro bag its an additional $5
Mosley Street Melodrama
It’s not a movie, but the Mosley Street Melodrama‘s play running Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from September 16 – October 29 offers a creative performance of The Witches of Eastborough. Tickets start at $25 but you can add on dinner for an additional fee.

Roll the Credits
I have not seen movies at Capitol Federal Amphitheater, Wichita Community Theater or Nafzger Park. I will update if they are doing anything like last year.
