Sharing is caring!
Great Plains Nature Center is having a FREE event for adults on October 19, 2024 called Art on the Trail. This annual event gives those with an appreciation for art and wine an opportunity to enjoy both in a beautiful outdoor setting.
More than 25 Wichita artists will use the medium of their choice to make art along the trails of the Great Plains Nature Center. But this is more than an opportunity for plein air art; Art of the Trail is an interactive event.
You’ll have an opportunity to stroll along the paved trails of Chisholm Creek Park, purchase a glass of wine onsite, and see what they’re producing.
Each artist will create original art in real time throughout the half mile trail. This interactive, outdoor event is designed to appreciate and re-create the beauty of the enchanting Kansas scenery. Meet, greet, and enjoy! Appreciate nature, art, and community during the golden hour sun.
