The Edge of Old Town Truck & Car Show Rolls Into Wichita for a Night of Free Fun. Wichita, mark your calendars for a brand-new summer event that’s revving up for an unforgettable night in the heart of downtown. The first-ever Edge of Old Town Truck & Car Show and Street Party is happening on Saturday, July 19, 2025, and it’s totally free to attend.
This event promises a full evening of family fun, cool cars, live music, great local food, and Wichita community vibes all without spending a dime on admission. Some of our other free events in Downtown during the summer are the Farmers Market and Riverflix at Exploration Place.

From classic cruisers to custom lowriders, lifted trucks to show-stopping builds, there will be something for every car lover. Whether you’re a longtime gearhead or just looking for something different to do in Wichita, this is the spot to be.
