The Mount Hope Prairie Festival is bringing family fun, live entertainment, and community support to Mount Hope, KS on Saturday, August 15, 2025.
As the town’s largest annual fundraiser, this one-day fall event at the city park is a local favorite for affordable good times and hometown pride.
Organized by the Mount Hope Community Organization (MHCO), the Prairie Festival raises money to fund playground upgrades, community programs, and support local services like EMS, fire, and police.
The festival traditionally kicks off on the third weekend in August, delivering a full day of food, games, music, contests, and fundraising—all thanks to volunteers and sponsors rallying behind a shared community vision.
