  • Concert tickets include Kansas State Fair admission.
  • Avoid the line. Buy early using the Kansas State Fair Website. (small processing fee for online)
  • Everyone 2 years old or older requires a ticket to attend concerts & VIP events. No exceptions to this. Younger children may sit on a lap but not in a seat, as there will usually not be an empty seat in the Row next to the family. That means no strollers or baby carriers in another person’s seat area.
  • There are no children’s or senior prices for any of the concerts.
  • All seats are metal bench seats with backs. Seat Cushions may be rented at two locations, on ground level and on the mezzanine level. Customers can leave these on the seats after the concert.
  • Accessible parking is available near Gate 9, with additional ADA parking areas near Gates 5 and 8.

All concerts begin at 7:30 pm and are held at the Grandstand during the Kansas State Fair in Hutchinson. Concert tickets include fair admission.

The Kansas State Fair, at the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, and you don’t have to buy a concert ticket to enjoy plenty of live music. Throughout the Fair, you’ll find free concerts and entertainment included with regular gate admission, with performances happening on stages across the fairgrounds.

One spot to check out is the 1861 Club, located at 212 Cottonwood Avenue, which hosts the Nine Lives nightly concert series from 8–11 p.m. with no additional cover charge. The Fair also has several free entertainment stages featuring local and regional bands, dance groups, choirs, and other performers throughout the day.
