National Donut Day Deals in Wichita

National Donut Day — or National Doughnut Day, as some spell it — is the first Friday in June. According to a press release from LaMars, the observance was started in 1938 by the Chicago Salvation Army in honor of the women who brought donuts to soldiers behind the front lines in World War I.

This year, National Donut Day is on Friday, June 7, 2024. We already know about a couple of national donut chains that are observing the delicious holiday by offering a FREE donut to customers.

Another way to celebrate is to visit one of Wichita’s favorite local sweet shops!
