Field Station: Dinosaurs is back this year with some spooky Halloween fun for the family. Its Dinosaurs After Dark event is scheduled for several evenings in October.
The prehistoric fun begins on Friday, October 4 and continues on Friday and Saturday nights throughout October. Check-in is at 6:45 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m.
You’ll meet mummies, vampires, and skeletons and enjoy a fun-filled night of songs, shows, games, and s’mores around the campfire. They’ll have two live shows, including “Cretaceous Costume Party,” a Tyrannosaurus hunt, talks by dinosaur profilers who will teach you how to get inside the mind of a dino, and the Mesozoic midway fun and games.
The Dinos after Dark is a guided tour. Admission is Pay Your Age up to 15 years old; for everyone else it’s $15 per person. Season pass members do get a slight discount, but it is not included in admission.
(Update: October 18 event is sold out.)
