This is a community favorite Halloween event in Wichita for 2024. Botanica will be hosting the Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular again this year from October 9, 10, 11 & 12, 2024.
For four days this October, Botanica will be transformed into a family-friendly Halloween haunt,
complete with over 1,000 lighted jack-o-lanterns, music from DJ Carbon, food trucks, fire pits
for s’mores, pumpkin sculptures and more!
Kids (and kids at heart) are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes to kick off the holiday season
early! Botanica’s Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular kicks off fall with activities and entertainment that will be
enjoyed by the whole family.
This will be a fun fall activity – break out those sweaters, boots, and scarves. The information
on the Botanica website says the event will have timed entry between the hours of 5:30 p.m. to
8:30 p.m. each evening. Gates will close at 10 p.m.
Activities at Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular
This is a family-friendly event that can be enjoyed by all ages. Activities will range from fun to
spooky. They will have hundreds upon hundreds jack-o-lanterns lighting up the gardens all
caved by community partners including schools and local businesses!
There will even be a plant graveyard and a giant bug display. Whether or not it’s suited for kids
is up to each parents’ discretion; you may want to steer your sensitive or younger kids in
another direction, but older kids might enjoy the spooky scenes.
Listen to DJ Carbon on the newer Grand Lawn stage near the Carousel Garden and grab a
cocktail or food from local restaurants and food & drink trucks onsite.

Admission to Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular
Admission to Botanica’s Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular is just $12 for member adults ($15 for non-
members); $10 for kids. (Kids 2 and under are FREE.) Make sure to visit their website to

While on the website, you can also book a private golf cart tour to be taken during the event!
Golf cart tours are available each day of the Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular and can be reserved in
