AMC Theatres: discount tickets every Tuesday
Every Tuesday, the theater chain offers its loyalty members, including all three tiers — AMC Stubs A-List, Premiere and Insider, Discount Tuesdays — get a ticket for $6.50 at most locations. (Note: The discounted price may vary by location. At the Wichita AMC, it looks like tickets to movies in regular digital format are only $5.50 on Tuesdays – but they tack on the dreaded “convenience fees” when purchasing online. Still results in a ticket of around $8. And if you choose a Dolby format movie, the regular price is discount by $4.49.)
Membership is FREE for the basic loyalty program, AMC Stubs Insider.
In many cases, the savings are around 50% off the regular ticket price, especially for evening show times. (There is an upcharge for premium formats and special events. Exclusions apply.)
The blockbuster offer is available at the box office and online — just be sure to present your membership card or login into your account first.
Even better, bargain hunters can also save money at the concession stand every week. Pair a Cameo-size popcorn with a 21-oz. ICEE or Cameo-size Coca-Cola Freestyle drink for just $5 on Discount Tuesdays at participating locations. (“Cameo-sized” is described as “snackable”, so probably relatively small.)
It’s not often you can buy a ticket and enjoy popcorn & soda for about the regular price of one ticket, so the savings are definitely blockbuster.
