Live the Good Life for Less & Never Miss a Deal

Orpheum Theater Film Series 2026

Here’s an experience you can’t get anywhere else, and it’s not too expensive. The Opheum will host their film series again this year. Since the theater is still under construction, the screening will be at Century II in the Mary Jane Teall Theater, but will return to the Orpheum in September.

$10 for a move is a pretty good deal. However, the price is even lower for season pass holders. Season passes are around $100 + Fee for the year, unless you see this article when they are having their 50% off Season Passes for the Film Series. This deal typically runs from mid-December to January or until they sell their limited number of discounted season passes.

The Orpheum Theatre in Wichita, Kansas, is a historic venue integral to the city’s cultural scene. Here are some key details about the Orpheum Theatre in Wichita:

  • The Orpheum Theatre opened its doors in 1922 and quickly became a hub for entertainment, hosting vaudeville shows, silent films, and live performances.
  • The Orpheum holds a special place in American history as the first atmospheric theater in the United States and the oldest one still standing.
  • Some of the live acts that have performed at the Orpheum are: Louie Armstrong, Jack Benny, Bing Crosby, Harry Blackstone, Bela Lugosi, Ella Fitzgerald, and many more well-known performers on the Orpheum stage.
  • It was constructed at an initial cost of $750, 000 using the best possible building materials available at the time. It was truly built to last, and today it is still extremely structurally sound.
  • Over the years, the Orpheum has undergone renovations to preserve its historic charm while incorporating modern amenities. Renovations have aimed to maintain the theater’s cultural significance.
