It doesn’t have to be Tuesday to have tacos! The Wichita Taco Festival is back for a third year. This year’s Taco Fest will be held August 3, 2019 at Old Cowtown Museum.
Tickets for the tasty event will be $5 in advance by May 12 or $10 at the gate. So be sure to do it the “on-the-cheap” way and get your tickets sooner rather than waiting until the day of the event. 🙂
You can purchase your early bird tickets online by May 12; there will be a service charge added to the total.
After May 12, other options will be available, but not at the $5 price.
Once inside TacoFest, you’ll be able to pick up tacos for $1 each or chips and salsa for $2.
They’ll also have a tequila tasting event with a limited number of tickets available at $40 each. Obviously, those tickets are only available for people age 21 and up.
Adding to the fun will be music, yard games, and more.
Judges will determine who has the best tacos and salsa at the festival and there’s also a jalapeno-eating competition if you’re so inclined!
