Wichita Riverfest Button Increase for 2024

The Wichita Festivals just announced an increase in pricing for 2024 Riverfstival buttons from May 31 to June 8, 2024. They announced the increase in price along with the Saturday performance of Hunter Hays, a five-time Grammy Award-winning artist.

Everyone must purchase a Riverfestival button to attend the festivities in Downtown Wichita. The button sales will begin on Monday, April 15th. Another bummer is that they no longer have early bird pricing.

Here is our Guide to the Wichita Fiver Festival 2024

The new Wichita Riverfestival Button Prices:

  • $20 for adults
  • $10 for children ages 6 – 11
  • Kids 5 and under are free.

The last button price increased in 2022 when adult buttons went from $10 to $15.

Where to get your Riverfestival Button:

  • Wichita Festivals Office at 444 E. William, during business hours of 9 a.m. – 5 p.m
  •  Beginning May 3, QuikTrip will sell buttons at all locations in Wichita, Derby and El Dorado.

From the Wichita Festival Press Release: “We considered all the options, and unfortunately, with rising prices everywhere, it was a tough decision, but we knew to continue the legacy of what Riverfest means for our community, we needed to raise the button price,” said Nancy Duling President and CEO of Wichita Festivals. “The cost of doing business has increased, and we want to do everything we can to keep the festival unique and a time- honored tradition in Wichita.”

Riverfest is proud to be one of the longest-running festivals in the state. It is celebrating its 52nd year and creating generational memories for Wichita.

“We hear all the time about cherished memories families have shared while experiencing the festival,” said Duling. “People come for the Sundown Parade and enjoy the fireworks shows while taking in the concerts and all the events all week. The memories that are made with a purchase of a button last for a lifetime.”
