Nomar Fiesta is back in Wichita this year! This annual celebration takes over Nomar Plaza with 12 hours of food, live music, local vendors, family fun, and Hispanic culture right in the heart of Wichita’s North End and the best part is it is free to attend.
I love events like this because you can come for an hour or make a whole day of it. Grab something delicious to eat, listen to live music, shop from local Latino-owned businesses, bring the family, and enjoy one of Wichita’s most vibrant neighborhoods.
Nomar Fiesta in Wichita
Nomar Fiesta celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month and brings the community together to celebrate Hispanic and Latino culture in Wichita on October 3, 2026. This year marks the fifth annual event, and it runs from 11 a.m. all the way until 11 p.m.
Throughout the day, you can expect:

One of my favorite parts of a cultural festival is always the food, and Nomar Fiesta is definitely an event where I’d come hungry! Local food vendors will be part of the celebration, giving you a chance to try different flavors while supporting local businesses.
