Hometown Christmas in Rose Hill, KS is held the 2nd Saturday of each December.

Experience old-fashioned family fun at this holiday event with activities for all ages all around town! All activities are FREE except for meals or unless otherwise noted.

There is going to be so much to do, including pictures with Santa, a craft fair shopping, a parade of lights in the evening, and more!

Events will be happening at various locations around town. Here are some of the fun they have planned throughout Rose Hill:

Rose Hill Recreation Center Activities

400 S. Rose Hill Rd, Rose Hill, Kansas 67133

Roll out of bed, throw on your favorite Christmas ugly sweater attire or pink bunny costume and get to the Rec Center to get the day started off right with a Holiday Hustle Fun Run then a hearty breakfast. The $6 menu includes:

  • Breakfast Casserole
  • Cheesy Potatoes
  • Cinnamon Roll Cake
  • Drink

Breakfast is available while supplies last.

Once your belly’s full, jump in line to get your picture taken with Santa, vote for your favorite ugly sweater, pick up your gingerbread house kit* and get crafty with your card-making* making skills, before heading over to the Market & Craft Fair or to all the Hometown Christmas activities around the Rose Hill Museum! *Crafts are available while supplies last!

Rose Hill Public Library Christmas Bag

306 N. Rose Hill Rd. Jog over to the library between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. for a Holiday Bag Giveaway.

Rose Hill Historical Museum Open House

106 N Main, PO Box 36, Rose Hill, Kansas 67133

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Rose Hill 4-H will have a North Pole petting zoo and you can sip on a hot beverage while enjoying a blacksmith presentation and the Boy Scouts Winter Expo. Get your pictures with Santa, gobble down a cookie and catch a carriage ride!

Hometown Christmas Market and Craft Fair

Shop a variety of independent retailers, business owners, crafters and artisans at Rose Hill’s Christmas market. Letters to Santa dropbox here too!

Rose Hill Christmas Parade

The Rose Hill Hometown Christmas Holiday Parade is back this year. The parade will begin at 3 p.m. so get your spot on Rose Hill Rd. between School St. and Berry Ave.
