Calling all garlic lovers! This is sure to be a pungent festival! Orie’s Farm Fresh will be hosting its annual Garlic Fest this year on Sunday, September 13, 2026. This event is in Downtown Wichita and is FREE to attend. This is a great event to kick off Wichita Fall Festivals around town, so mark your calendar.
Orie’s is an urban farm with a variety of locally grown and raised produce, striving to be as organic and natural as possible. Besides garlic, Orie’s Farm Fresh also sells a variety of other vegetables and eggs from free-range hens.
“This annual food festival celebrates all things garlic — with ready-to-eat garlicky grub, garlic beverages, garlic salts, seasonings, baked goods, honeys, jams, and more!”
The Garlic Fest event will host a variety of artisans, makers, farmers and ranchers, musicians, and food vendors. You will be able to purchase a wide variety of local handmade items at the Garlic Fest, and of course, the food will have garlic!
At past festivals, there were talks on how to grow garlic and live garlic cooking demonstrations that helped you become a pro at cooking with this flavorful bulb. It’s family-friendly. You’ll find vendor businesses, including farms, ranches, food artisans, and handmade artists, as well as garlicky products galore and their popular complimentary garlic shots
The Orie’s Garlic Fest will be held at Public at the Brickyard and around Old Town from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is FREE this year!
