The McDonald’s Halloween Boo Buckets are back! Yes, the rumors are true. Starting October 15th, 2024 you can get a Halloween pail with your Happy Meal. Your happy meal will be served in the pail instead of the cardboard box.
There are 4 new pail designs, only 1 will be in a restaurant at a time. The pails will be available as supplies last at participating stores. Readers have confirmed we do have participating McD stores in Wichita. Let us know if you’ve seen them!
And what do you think of the new designs?
This is as nostalgic a fast food deal as you can get. The pails started back in 1986 when McDonalds offered the happy meals in the cute little bucks that were Halloween themed. It could double as a trick-or -treat pail. Each pail comes with Halloween stickers.
This year, the design has been updated again. Now they have little monster faces.
The new 2024 McDonald’s Boo Buckets colors are:
- White
- Orange
- Green
- Blue (new!)
The three original designs were all jack-o-lanterns, just with different faces. A few years after the white ghost and green witch design were added to the lineup. Now they’re all various cute monster designs and this year, blue replaces purple.
2024 Boo Bucket fans can customize their Monster Boo Bucket pails with themed stickers for a truly monstrous makeover.
Ready to kick off spooky szn in style? Head to your local McDonald’s to snag a festive pail, while supplies last.
Last year, Burger King got into the competition and revealed a Halloween bucket of its own. Has anyone seen ads yet for these this year?
