Sharing is caring!
Get introduced to one of the neatest places in Wichita. Make ICT is sort of like a gym, but instead of equipment for building your body, they have equipment for building things – whatever it might be! Every other Monday they host a open house at MakeICT your friendly local makerspace.
The group brings together artists, artisans, tech aficionados, and tinkerers. If you’ve never seen a 3D printer, go see one, and take at gander at all the cool tools available for members. Each Maker Monday will consist of an informational meeting and tour. Please show up a bit before 7:00 so they can start promptly. This is a great way to get to know MakeICT. Membership is crazy inexpensive, so if you find yourself drooling over equipment then you just might want to sign up.

MakeICT’s makerspace is a 22,000 square foot facility located at 5920 E Mt Vernon St. It serves as the hub of their mission: We innovate, learn, and build community at the intersection of art, technology, science, and culture.
The Maker Monday open houses are always free and open to the public. Bring a project, bring a friend, or just bring yourself. There’s always something interesting going on!
The makerspace is divided into these sections:
- Art gallery
- Bike repair
- Ceramics
- Classrooms
- Coworking space
- Electronics
- Fab Lab
- Jewelry Lab
- Lounge
- Metalshop
- Printmaking
