The Kansas Aviation Museum has a weekly program for kids that includes fun activities and FREE admission from 10 a.m. to noon.
That bears repeating: Little Aviators is now FREE for all children 12 and under and one adult per family.
Little Aviators is held Friday mornings from 10 a.m. to noon. Kids get to play and learn in the Boeing Science, Math, and History Learning Center and the Lattner Hanger at the museum. During school breaks, they also usually offer more days or extended programming.
The weekly program includes activities like:
- Play area with building materials
- Get a look at real aircraft cockpits
- Fun and informative aviation videos
- Explore the museum and ramp
- Hands-on learning
One adult per child receives FREE admission to attend with the kids!
You’ll also get to explore the museum, see real airplanes parked out on the ramp, fly off to faraway places in one of the cockpits, and even test your skills on one of the flight simulators.
