Kansas Critters at the Riverside Park “Zoo”

Naturalists from the Great Plains Nature Center will be at the Kansas Wildlife Exhibit in Riverside Park (also known by locals as the Riverside Park Zoo) on Fridays during the lunch hour this summer to talk about Kansas Critters.

They’ll feed the animals and you’ll get an up-close encounter with some Kansas wildlife!

Visit the Kansas Wildlife Exhibit in Riverside to get an up-close encounter with Kansas wildlife! Watch us feed the animals and view some of the more elusive (nocturnal) residents. Each week we’ll highlight a different Kansas animal.

The Kansas Wildlife Exhibit is always available during the park’s open hours, but this will be a cool behind-the-scenes experience.

The event will last an hour, from noon to 1 p.m.
