Sunday, June 28, 2026, our favorite art deco airport-turned-museum will host a family-friendly block party from 1-6 p.m.
It will be an afternoon filled with adventure, with quite a number of good activities:
- Open aircraft to explore
- Bounce houses
- Food trucks
- Live DJ
- Local goods and crafts booths
- Snow cones and other summer treats for all ages
Purchase your carload tickets in advance for only $15, or pay $20 per carload at the gate. KAM members get in free!
If you’ve never been to the museum before – or if it’s been a while – you’re really going to like it! The museum used to be Wichita’s airport, and it’s just so sophisticated and beautiful you can really imagine the excitement of air travel back then.
