Looking for fun things to do at in Wichita, including family-friendly crafts, creative workshops, and holiday activities? Botanica, The Wichita Gardens, is bringing something new to Bradley Fair with Glow & Grow, a seasonal pop-up shop and hands-on makerspace running from October 19 through December 31, 2026.
I worked at Botanica for nine years, so this one makes me especially happy! I love seeing them grow, try new ideas, and find creative ways to bring the magic of the gardens into our community. And I think bringing a little piece of Botanica to Bradley Fair is such a fun idea.
Glow & Grow combines shopping, plants, family activities, and creative classes in one location. Whether you’re looking for something different to do with the kids, planning a girls’ night, or wanting to make a homemade holiday gift, there are several ways to get involved.

What Is Glow & Grow at Bradley Fair?
Glow & Grow is a limited-time Botanica pop-up featuring a plant-inspired gift shop and creative makerspace.
Here’s what you’ll find:
- Tiny Terra Plant Bar: Create a miniature plant project to take home.
- Family-friendly drop-in activities: Hands-on crafts and projects for families.
- Take-home maker kits: Creative projects you can enjoy at home.
- Adult workshops: Guided classes featuring botanical art, seasonal crafts, and holiday creations.
- Gift shop: Plant-themed gifts, gardening accessories, fun plant stakes, and miniature plant surprises.
- Tiny Terra vending machine: Pick up a mystery miniature plant.
- Illuminations tickets: Purchase tickets for Botanica’s popular holiday light event.
I especially like that you can stop by to browse the shop or choose a specific activity or workshop. You don’t have to commit to a full class just to see what Glow & Grow is all about.
Family-Friendly Activities and Special Events
Botanica has several seasonal activities planned at Glow & Grow, including Halloween crafts and hands-on plant projects.
The family makerspace activities are a fun option if you’re looking for something creative to do with the kids. Just keep in mind that individual activities may have separate prices or registration requirements.
