Fathers Day Car Show at the Zoo and Dads get in Free 2026

Dads get in free to the Sedgwick County Zoo again this year on Father’s Day with an additional paid admission. Plus, just for Dad’s special day, the Sedgwick County Zoo also hosts its annual Father’s Day Car Show. When is Father’s Day this year? It’s on June 21, 2026, so mark your calendar. 

You can see all sorts of classic cars, antique autos, and vintage hot rods while exploring the zoo’s favorite animal exhibits.

Dads get in FREE with an additional paid admission, and members get in free with a membership card and photo ID. Check out our full guide to Father’s Day Events and Deals in Wichita. 

Grab your crew, put the pedal to the metal, and cruise on out to Sedgwick County Zoo for Father’s Day. See classic cars, antique autos, and modern models while exploring your favorite animal exhibits. Hundreds of cars participate in the Father’s Day Car Show every year.

Awards will be given for first and second place in many different categories, along with additional zoo awards given for:

Special Awards:

  • Flock Favorite
  • Pack Pick
  • Kids’ Pick
  • Dads’ Pick

The free Father’s Day admission and car show will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 21, 2026. 

Regular Zoo admission if you purchase online:

Pro Tip: It’s $5 more if you purchase at the gate. 

  • Members: Free
  • Seniors:
    • $23 online
    • $28 at the gate
  • Adults (ages 12 – 61)
    • $28 online
    • $33 at the gate
  • Child (ages 3 – 11)
    • $23 online
    • $28 at the gate
  • Children 2 and under are free.

You can save a few bucks by buying your tickets online in advance.

*If a child is two and under, another paid admission will get Dad free admission.
