Family & Kid Yoga at Wichita Art Museum: Free

Sharing is caring!

Looking for a fun and Free Activity to do with your little one in Wichita? The Wichita Art Museum offers a playful and relaxed yoga experience designed especially for young children and their grown-ups.

Held every second Friday of the month, this free class is led by local instructor Christine Vumai and blends simple yoga movements with creativity and imagination. The experience combines yoga, art, and playful activities to help kids move, explore, and have fun in a welcoming museum setting.

Dont forget that WAM has a great Indoor Play Place called PLAY with art & toys for kids.

This short session is perfect for younger children who may not sit still for long classes. Kids can stretch, move, and giggle while enjoying a creative start to the day. It is also a great way for parents and caregivers to introduce mindfulness and movement in a relaxed environment.

The class runs for about 30 minutes, making it an easy activity to add to a morning outing. After yoga, families can explore the museum or enjoy the surrounding river area.

Must Know Before You Go: Advanced registration is required for children aged 2 to 6; siblings, older or younger, are welcome to join without advance registration. An adult must accompany the children.

All classes are held from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM to Noon.
