The Wichita Art Museums FREE Kids Area Called PLAY

PLAY is a space at the Wichita Art Museum that has been around for years but this kids area has been newly redone with the new name – PLAY. This is a FREE area for exploration, creativity, and making memories. 

Explore the world of joy and creativity at PLAY, which is open during standard museum operation hours. Whether you come with family or friends, there’s something for everyone in this dynamic drop-in space for all ages. PLAY offers a variety of rotating activities that support creative play, ignite the imagination, and connect visitors to the art collection.

The Wichita Art Musuem Permenant Colleciton is FREE to Visit and open to the public. You can visit the gallery and explore PLAY all for FREE.

  •  Visit the Art Garden. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It’s FREE.
  • The Wichita Art Museum is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays but open until 9 pm on Fridays.
