One of the many reasons we adore Exploration Place is its constant stream of fresh exhibits, ensuring there’s always something new to discover. With our Family Membership, which offers unlimited visits, you can enjoy all the exhibits, catch a dome show, and receive exclusive discounts. A family membership costs $85; after one or two visits (depending on your group size), your membership will pay for itself. If you anticipate visiting the museum at least twice a year, getting a membership can save you tons of money. We typically visit at least twice a month, making the membership a worthwhile investment for us.
Pro Tip: We visit often on Thursday evenings. They are open until 8 p.m., which is great for our family and allows me to have some fun in the evening after work with my family.
The Superpowers Exhibit gives an immersive experience where you can uncover your own superpowers, defend the city, battle villains, and engage in thrilling adventures alongside characters like Batgirl, The Flash, Supergirl, Aquaman, Green Lantern, and Cyborg. Guests have the chance to push their mental and physical limits, collaborating as heroes like The Flash, Green Lantern, Cyborg, and Aquaman.
- Visit the Hall of Justice to play the Crisis Scanner game, identifying supervillains causing trouble and deploying the best hero to stop them.
- Explore the streets of Gotham City, solving puzzles and searching for clues while keeping an eye out for The Joker, Catwoman, and Poison Ivy.
- Stop by the Museum of Ancient History to navigate a laser maze, then use bracelets and a lasso—just like Wonder Woman!—to block attacks and retrieve priceless artifacts.

Superhero Sleepover at Exploration Place
Exploration Place will transform into a summer sleepover within the exhibit! Bring your friends and earn your superhero credentials—and official license—through a series of exciting games and activities.
What Makes this Sleepover Extra Special:
- Choose where to set up your camp and sleep within the exhibit.
- You can explore the museum exhibits after dark and watch a movie in the Dome. They will be playing the DC League of Super-Pets.
- Dinner, snacks, and breakfast will be provided during your stay.
- Learn your superhero name, be assigned a superpower, and customize your cape and mask. They will snap a photo to make you an official superhero license you can take home!
Wear your superhero t-shirts or pajamas and join in on the fun, super shenanigans, and super slumber!
