The City of Derby will host its annual Spring Into Art celebration on April 24, 2022, in Madison Avenue Central Park.
Spring Into Art is free and open to the public!
This family-friendly event will feature art for sale, live entertainment, make-and-take art stations, the Kansas Grown Farmers Market, wine tastings, and more.
Spring Into Art Derby will be held rain or shine from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (If there is inclement weather, they’ll hold most activities inside The Venue.)
New this year is the Derby Chalk Garden. Attendees of all ages can get involved by drawing their own chalk masterpieces on the sidewalks at the park. This chalk event will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on the north end of the park near the open shelter.
If you are an artist and interested in participating, it’s $25 for a 10 foot by 10 foot booth. (Update: All art vendor spots are full.) Note: This isn’t a craft fair; the kind of items they’re looking for include original paintings, sculptures, photography, woodwork and jewelry.
