Planet Fitness just announced the return of its FREE Summer Pass for teens in high school.
This has been a great summer program where teens can get a free gym membership. Starting June 1st, high school teens ages 14-19 can work out FREE all summer at participating Planet Fitness locations in Wichita and around the country.
Planet Fitness Free Membership Registration:
Registration is open May 18, 2026. The free High School Summer Pass program runs from June 1 through August 31.

What is included in the Planet Fitness Free Teen Pass?
This great FREE opportunity can boost physical and mental health. Planet Fitness High School Summer Pass program has helped millions of teens establish or maintain healthy fitness habits during the summer months when school is out, helping them overcome the “summer slump” in mood and fitness.
All High School Summer Pass participants will have access to:
- Planet Fitness’s complete range of strength equipment, including new plate-loaded machines, best-in-class cardio equipment, stretching space, and more
- Free fitness training from certified fitness trainers (at participating locations)
- Teen-specific workout plans designed to build strength safely and effectively
- The free Planet Fitness App features hundreds of on-demand digital exercises
- A welcoming, non-intimidating community environment
Does Wichita, KS have any Planet Fitness locations?
Planet Fitness has locations in Wichita, Derby, and Hutchinson, as well as in other Kansas cities. Teens can sign up for the Teen Summer Challenge in person at their preferred location or online.

To sign up, any teen under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present. Once they have the waiver form signed, teens can work out on their own.

- Download the App. Make an account using the same email you used to register and explore all the FREE PF App has to offer before your digital club pass becomes available on June 1st.
- Enjoy the Summer of FREE workouts for Teens.
Teens can only work out at the Planet Fitness location where they signed up.
