Sharing is caring!
Hey you DIYers, crafters, bakers, entertainers, inventors, and artists, the annual Maker Faire is coming to Wichita in April at Exploration Place!
What is the Maker Faire?
The Maker Faire is an opportunity for makers to showcase their projects and share with Wichita what they are doing and learning.
Driven by Make: magazine, the Maker Movement, and in partnership with MakeICT, the Maker Faire in Wichita gives amateur artisans, engineers, scientists and crafters of all ages the freedom to showcase their hobbies, experiments, and projects in a family-friendly atmosphere.
“Makers from across the community and region will be taking part in the “Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth” – a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.
Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these “makers” to show hobbies, experiments, projects.”
There are two ways to enjoy Wichita’s Maker Faire: attend the event to see what others are making or participate as a presenter to show what you make.
