Get ready for the 2019 Fall Blues Crawl in Wichita, happening Sunday evening, September 29.
The annual event is one you won’t want to miss. A $10 wristband gets you into all the venues plus the After Party.
The Wichita Blues Crawl is really a good time with some great music. You won’t want to miss it.
My husband and I attended the spring crawl one year with some friends.
Not only did we enjoy the music, it was also an opportunity to discover some of the Old Town venues we had never been to.
And ten bucks for all of the bands is a great deal. This is one of the best ways to spend a Sunday evening in Wichita, hands down!
Get your wristband at any of the Blues Crawl venues (I’ve listed them below), then visit each location in Old Town to hear a variety of blues performers from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Later, enjoy an after party back at The Brickyard from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
A few of the venues allow entry to those under 21 for the Crawl portion of the evening, but the after party is 21 and older only.
Wristbands are available at all participating venues or at a booth set up in Old Town Farm and Art Market Plaza.
All of the venues are within easy walking distance of each other, and the Old Town Plaza is pretty much centrally located, so you may want to find parking there or in the lot just south of it on Douglas Ave. (between Rock Island and Mosley).
The Wichita Blues Crawl is held twice a year and showcases a variety of styles that make up the blues genre. The crawl serves as a fundraiser to help the non-profit Wichita Blues Society revitalize the blues scene here in Wichita.
The venues and performers for each year’s Spring and Fall Blues Crawls in Wichita can change slightly. Keep an eye here for the updated info.
Here’s the lineup for the 2019 Fall Blues Crawl.
*An asterisk next to the venue means it’s available for all ages.**A double-asterisk means it’s open to all ages except during the after-party.
- Made from Scratch at 6 Degrees
- Henry Walker Band at Mort’s
- Mr. Lee and Just Us at Loft 150*
- Olympia Trio at Industry
- Lonesome Stranger at Heroes*
- Jukeroots at Barleycorn’s
- The George Sanders Band at Brickyard**
- After Party at Brickyard** with Dirty Red and the Soul Shakers
The After Party will be held at the Brickyard from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Date: September 29, 2019
Time: 05:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Location: Old Town Wichita
Cost: $10 wristband, available at any of the participating venues

Thank you for this info on the Blue’s Crawl! I haven’t been in several years but it is still a fond memory of a GREAT time! I would to take my hubby on a date to the Blue’s Crawl so it would be AWESOME to win two wristbands!

I’ve never been, but it sounds like a good time! I would love to win the wristbands and go for the first time! 😉
Your site is the best! I’m an event coordinator for a Meetup group, and you give me great ideas for our group all the time! Thank you for helping to keep me informed of all the things Wichita has to offer! Including this great Blues Crawl 🙂
Great event. Just in time before A.E.P insurance time.
The spring and fall Blues Crawl is always something we look forward to and attend with the same friends each year. Always a GREAT time.

Great venue to showcase local talent and promote old town
Love the blues.
My husband use to play in blues bands. This would be wonderful for him to go to. His health doesn’t allow him to play but we would love to go to this.
I think you and he would really enjoy it then!
I love Blues Music and have never been to the crawl . I would love to go and surprise my husband 🙂
Love the Blues…happy to discover that Wichita has a following. I hope to see you there!
I might have seen you at the spring crawl! This weekend I won’t be able to make it (unfortunately), which is kind of how the idea of the wristband giveaway started! 🙂
We love the Blues Crawl!
I wish it was every weekend!
This is a great way to get to know the city! We are still a little new to town, and haven’t had the chance to explore the awesome offerings of Wichita much yet but I follow this site regularly to find the great local happenings! Looking forward to this and would love to win!

I agree!
Have never done this, but it looks like a blast!
Love getting your emails and seeing what there is to do and do cheaply!
Looking forward to a great day of BLUES!!
I love Blues! This looks like it will be a blast!
Another great lineup! I have volunteered for the last few crawls and want to just enjoy myself this year after all my trials and tribulations of the past couple of years. Go WBS! You rock.
Awesome, Debra. Thanks for contributing to the success of these Blues crawls in the past!
Love your site!
Thank you, Jeanine! 🙂
I’m going no matter what but this is my first year attending and I’m so super excited!
Wa-hoo! You’ll love it.
This year especially great lineup of bands!
It sure is!
I have friends that always go & I think I could finally fit it into my schedule this yr.
You’ll be glad you did! Your friends have probably told you that already though. 🙂
There’s nothing better than supporting local artists and what a great price for all that music therapy they’ll be giving me. 🙂
Right on! It’s really like therapy to have a whole evening of just listening to musicians and hanging with your friends. Cheaper than therapy too! 🙂
Hey this sounds like a super fun, not to mention great value, event!
You said it, Kenneth!
A great way to start off our vacation week, and we don’t even have to leave town to hear some great music. Heck, we don’t even have to leave our neighborhood!
Oh, wow. You have such a cool neighborhood then! I love it down there.
Thank you for the info!
You’re welcome, Marti! Hope you can go!
