Live the Good Life for Less & Never Miss a Deal

Wichita Blues Crawl

Sharing is caring!

Get ready for the 2019 Fall Blues Crawl in Wichita, happening Sunday evening, September 29.

The annual event is one you won’t want to miss.  A $10 wristband gets you into all the venues plus the After Party.

The Wichita Blues Crawl is really a good time with some great music. You won’t want to miss it.

My husband and I attended the spring crawl one year with some friends.

Not only did we enjoy the music, it was also an opportunity to discover some of the Old Town venues we had never been to.

And ten bucks for all of the bands is a great deal. This is one of the best ways to spend a Sunday evening in Wichita, hands down!

Get your wristband at any of the Blues Crawl venues (I’ve listed them below), then visit each location in Old Town to hear a variety of blues performers from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Later, enjoy an after party back at The Brickyard from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The Blues Crawl starts to get really busy right before the After Party.

A few of the venues allow entry to those under 21 for the Crawl portion of the evening, but the after party is 21 and older only.

Wristbands are available at all participating venues or at a booth set up in Old Town Farm and Art Market Plaza.

All of the venues are within easy walking distance of each other, and the Old Town Plaza is pretty much centrally located, so you may want to find parking there or in the lot just south of it on Douglas Ave. (between Rock Island and Mosley).

The Wichita Blues Crawl is held twice a year and showcases a variety of styles that make up the blues genre. The crawl serves as a fundraiser to help the non-profit Wichita Blues Society revitalize the blues scene here in Wichita.

The venues and performers for each year’s Spring and Fall Blues Crawls in Wichita can change slightly. Keep an eye here for the updated info.

Here’s the lineup for the 2019 Fall Blues Crawl.

*An asterisk next to the venue means it’s available for all ages.**A double-asterisk means it’s open to all ages except during the after-party.
