Here’s a NEW fun and family-friendly trick-or-treating event in Wichita. Wichita Park and Recreation is hosting Trick-or-Treat on the Lake October 19, 2019 – and you’ll literally be on the lake!
You’ll float on the lake in either a pedal boat or kayak as creatures lurk on the shoreline waiting to give you a treat.
Kids ages 3-11 get the pedal boats, and the cost is $5. According to their according to their Facebook event page, that price includes a parent.
Adults and kids ages 12+ get the kayaks, and the cost is $15 per person.
Please note: Since plans can change on short notice, be sure to use the links in each post to double-check all events before you go.
The event will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019.
Pre-registration is required and I think this might fill up quickly so don’t wait too long. Doesn’t this sound like fun?? (Good job, Park & Rec Department!)
O.J. Watson Park is also the site for Wicked Island, one of Wichita’s favorite Haunted Attractions for adults and teens.
