Now through Sept. 9, teachers, administrators and parents save an extra 10% on general merchandise at Dillons (and elsewhere in the Kroger Family of Stores).
While we are waiting for school to start (whatever that may look like for you this year), and stocking up at the school supply sales, we can now save even more on back-to-school essentials if we shop at Dillons on Wednesdays.
During its first “Teachers and Honorary Teachers savings event,” Kroger is offering an extra 10% off general merchandise through Sept. 9 for teachers, school administrators and parents.
General merchandise includes school and craft supplies, toys, games, sporting goods, housewares, apparel and electronics.
To get the discount, pick up an order or shop in-store on Wednesdays with your Shopper’s Card and ask for the discount at checkout or pickup. You do need to use your Dillon’s card in order to receive the discount, but you do not have to show a school ID. The main thing to remember is to ASK for the discount on Wednesdays, and be sure that you have qualifying items (i.e. from the General Merchandise category) in your basket.
Anyone can take advantage of the 10% discount on Wednesdays, as long as you have and use your Dillon’s card and are buying qualifying items.
The savings will add up when you’re shopping for back to school this year! Dillons already has some great school supply deals, so this will make them even cheaper. And if you haven’t shopped the Dillons Marketplace for clothing and other back-to-school essentials, you definitely should. We’ve found some really good deals there in August!
