The Ulrich Museum on the WSU campus is hosting a free family-friendly and community-friendly evening stroll through its outdoor sculpture collection.
The Sculpture Glow will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021. It will also include a showing of the Pixar movie Soul at 9 p.m., free popcorn from Storytime Village, youth entrepreneur vendor booths, and food trucks.
Here’s how they described the event on Facebook:
“An after-hours exploration of the Martin H. Bush Outdoor Sculpture Collection as the glow of the evening light settles and the fireflies of summer twinkle. A community and family event celebrating a summer solstice with interactive stations connecting our sculptures and our history.”
It looks like they’ll be meeting outside the Ulrich Museum to begin the walk. (There’s a map of the campus with the museum location at the link below.)
Bring blankets and lawn chairs for the summer movie, which will be shown at the Duersken Fine Arts Center Amphitheater on campus.
