This looks like a fun-filled holiday event for both kids and adults.
“The Polar Express Literacy Event is a magical setting around The Polar Express Story. A winter carnival awaits your delight after being treated to a delectable dinner filled with your favorite breakfast items paired with a hot chocolate bar.
McCurdy Auction provides an entertaining time with an exclusive auction created just for this event: children become the auctioneers and dollars are raised for our Head Start Scholarships!
This fun-filled evening reminds us of the importance of reading to young children, collects books for the children enrolled in our programs, and helps us develop friends and funds to widen the opportunities for those we serve.”
The Polar Express event will be held November 17, 2018 at the Holiday Inn East I35 hotel, 549 South Rock Road, Wichita, Kansas 67207.
The event is from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. that evening.
Tickets are $25 for adults (ages 13+), $10 for kids ages 6-12, $3 for kids ages 2-5, and FREE for kids under 2 years old. Those prices do not include online processing fees, which will add slightly to the total.
