Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond coming to Wichita to promote her new book, Pioneer Woman Cooks - Come and Get It
The Pioneer Woman’s new cookbook, Come and Get It

Pioneer Woman Ree Drummond is coming to Wichita as part of her Come and Get It cookbook tour.

If you, like my husband, don’t know who Ree Drummond is, then you probably haven’t seen her Pioneer Woman blog. It’s one of those blogging success stories: A mom starts a blog, people start to read it, more people start to read it, advertisers start to read it, money starts coming in, and cookbooks get written, TV shows get made, and product lines are developed.

I’m a fan, as much because of her success as a blogger as any of her recipes. (I do use the Pioneer Woman’s recipe for homemade noodles. Cheap and surprisingly easy if your kitchen counter isn’t cluttered with the family’s mail, bookbags, coffee cups, small kitchen appliances, and miscellaneous tools. In other words, you need some space to make the noodles.)

Watermark Books is bringing Ree in again for a book-signing. (They’ve wisely booked Abode Venue for the event.) The big thing that you have to know is that if you want your book signed, you need a ticket. They are $35 each and come with a copy of her new cookbook, Pioneer Woman Cooks: Come and Get It.

Until October 24, tickets are only available online, and do incur a service fee.

After October 24, you can get your ticket in person, with no service fee, at the Select-A-Seat Box Office at INTRUST Bank Arena, 500 E. Waterman.

For more details, see the Watermark event listing here.

    1. I’ll double-check on that starting time; I’m not sure if I made a mistake or they changed it. Thanks for pointing it out!

What do you mean about “signing only?” Did I indicate that it is something other than a signing? (I re-read my post but still am not sure what you were referring to.)

    2. Oh! Now I see it… I wrote “if you want a seat for Ree’s presentation,” only it isn’t a presentation. I’ll get that corrected immediately. Thanks, Dana!!
