Orpheum 100th Anniversary Free Kick Off Party

Sharing is caring!

Please join us to kick off the Orpheum Theatre’s 100th Anniversary by doing what we do best, celebrating and honoring cultural and performing arts. First Friday is the perfect opportunity to kick things off, and it’s free and open to the public! This event is on Friday, September 2nd at 6pm.

Along with the announcement of our mural project winner, we will be hosting our three top artists from the Orpheum 1st Street Mural Project to display their art in the theatre. We are delighted to present the Studio Singers on the Orpheum stage for a performance that will bring back memories as well as Mayor Whipple to give a special recognition to the Wichita landmark.

We’ll also be screening an exclusive sneak peak of our 100th Anniversary video, along with some special shout outs.

Complimentary popcorn will be served throughout the event and anniversary cupcakes will be available while supplies last. Bars and concessions will be open with the Orpheum’s signature drink, Eberson’s Elixir, on special.

Join us for one reason or all! We are thrilled for the Orpheum Theatre to kick off 100 years, heading strong into her second century!
