It’s been an annual event since 1873! The 2022 Mulvane Old Settlers Days celebration is back and will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, August 19, 20, and 21 this year.
Events will include a road race, rodeo, arts and crafts fair, parade, and more.
A $3 button can be purchased at many Mulvane-area businesses.
Most of the activities will be on Saturday and most will be held near Main Street Park at 4th and Main, so you can probably find a spot along the street to park. Bring your lawn chairs and come ready to enjoy the small-town festivities.
The rodeo is on Friday and Saturday night at the Mulvane Rodeo Arena, beginning at 8 p.m. each night. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids ages 8-12, and FREE for kids 7 and younger.
On Saturday, the parade starts at 11 a.m. Get there early and find a good spot to set up your lawn chairs. Activities continue all day in the park area.
There will be live music including:
The Classic Cowboys – Friday at 7:00pm at Cobb Park
The Huffmans – Friday at 7:15pm a the Main Stage Park
Johnny & The Lawdogs – Friday at 8pm at the American Legion Post 136
Curtis Roberts Band – Saturday at 12:15pm at Main Street Park
Bucky Fowler Band – Saturday at 2pm at the Main Street Park
My husband and I participated in the parade last year with the Wichita Flea Market and it was a blast. I couldn’t believe how many floats and participants there were in the parade. TONS of FREE candy for the kids. It was a great day of fun and I highly recommend putting this event on your calendar.
