Admission to the Heritage Festival is free, making it affordable for families to enjoy a full day of entertainment. Here’s what you can expect.
- Old-time photo booth (with free commemorative print)
- Music by the Diamond W. Wranglers
- An ice cream social served by our local Methodist Church members to remember the night of the train robbery.
- Old-time candy and merch store.
- Kids Corral – including vintage games such as tug-of-war, egg and spoon races, sack races, and hoop and stick run.
- Panning for ‘gold.’
- Dress up competition, prizes for “Best Family” and “Best Individual.”
- Performance by Dennis Rogers – Navajo Spirit Dancer
- Interactive tour of the Andover cemetery by the local Historical Society
- A big-screen showing of the film ‘Sod and Stubble’ by local director Ken Spurgen

Heritage is a cool new destination in Andover, open to the public and perfect for a little outing. Recently, we started our morning with breakfast at Livingston (right by the park), then took a stroll through the area, enjoying the beautiful new area. My daughter especially loved watching the ducks in the pond!
