Enjoy a free Family Movie Day at the public library in Goddard, Kansas this summer!
The Goddard Public Library has a full schedule of fun kids’ and family activities (including some really cool ones for teens, so check them out). Among their summer events, they have several Family Movie Days!
These are great classic musical films appropriate for all ages. All the movies begin at 2 p.m. (with one exception), and I believe I saw that they’ll have popcorn available!

The family movies are all musicals – probably to align with the theme of the summer reading program this year, which is “Libraries Rock.”
I’ve also noticed that at least a few area libraries are bringing in musicians to perform kids’ songs. (Here’s one, for example.)
